About the Seamstress & Your Gown
I started my Home Business in 1980 Making Custom Gowns.
In 1992 I moved to Oregon continued my Home Business doing Alterations.
I am referred by several shops in the Portland area.
I do fittings at the Bridal Shop or at my Home.
Usually there are two fittings. The final is usually just before the Wedding.
99% of the Wedding gowns need an alteration because
they are ordered to your nearest size.
If your gown is to big, to small, or to long, it can be altered to fit you.
Your 1st fitting appointment should be at least 5 to 6 weeks before the Wedding.
Earlier is even better. (This is a guideline on time)
I can accommodate an immediate need situation
and can get your gown ready for you when needed.
You need to have your shoes, slip and a longline Bra with boning.
( A Strapless bra, Spandex & lace ups usually don't work under most gowns.)
No Bra may be comfortable but does nothing for the fit of your gown.
I recommend you always wear a longline supportive bra with your wedding gown
(they really do make the gown fit perfectly)
with only one exception
A Gown that Laces up the back.
** Your Wedding Day is the day You are a Beautiful Princess **
and unfortunately not always a comfortable one.
My home is a smoke free & clean environment.
All Gowns are hung on a rack in my sewing room.
They are removed from their garment bag only when the actual work is done.
Give me a call and lets make your gown perfect for that Special Day!

Warning: Be careful when choosing a seamstress for your gown.
Someone that knows how to sew does not always know how to alter a wedding gown.
There is a difference between knowing how to sew or alter regular clothing and alterations on a wedding gown.
I am adding this warning because every year I get these emergency Help fix my gown, after someone has tried to alter it.
Select your seamstress with the same care as you chose your gown for that special day.
Whether you hire me or another seamstress I want your day to be the most
Wonderful Day of Your Life!
